What did september bring?

Wow! Another month has passed. Time flies when you having fun. I can hardly believe it that the third quarter is already behind us. A new month means also time to summarize my dividend income from the past month. In total I received € 172.89 in passive income.

If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:

  • Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A) € 72.86
  • Unilever (UN) € 55.96
  • Realty Income (O) € 6.16
  • McDonalds (MCD) € 11.47
  • Aflac (AFL) € 5.99
  • Target (TGT) € 14.84
  • American Realty Capital Prop. (ARCP) € 5.61

That makes a total of € 172.89. This is a nice increase from last years September. The biggest contribution to this increase came from reshuffling my portfolio.

For an update of my Dividend Income click the hyperlink. In 2014 I received a total in passive income of € 826.27

If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), you can see that I didn’t make any changes last month. I only donate some cash to my Vrijheid Fonds. At this moment most of the stocks are, in my opinion, overvalued. So I’ll wait and stay cool. When there will be a dip in the market, I’ll be back. Or, of course, when I discover a buying opportunity.

My total portfolio value at the end of September is $41,967 which is an increase of 1.89% over last month August (€ 41,188). Most of the gain came due to a stronger Dollar against the Euro.

My journey is still very long, but I’m a little step closer.
And like a Chinese philosopher once said: “Every journey begins with the first step”

Cheers,

Pollie

Great looking month by any measure. Keep adding to those dividend paying stocks. Happy to own several names on our list too. Look forward to your next update.
