Today Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) announced a 7.1% increase in its quarterly dividend. The dividend is raised from $0.70 to $0.75. The forward yield is now right around 3.00%. The dividend pay date is June 9, 2015 to shareholders of record on May 26, 2015. The ex dividend date is June 21, 2015.
The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $3.00 per share, up from $2.80.
Since my Vrijheid Fonds consist of 30 shares of JNJ, my annual dividends will increase by $5.10 (after taxes). My annual total amount from my shares of JNJ will be $76.50 (after taxes).
