On Monday Realty Income (O) announced a 0.3% increase in its monthly dividend for common stockholders. The dividend is raised from $0.1985 to $0.199. It was the 85nd consecutive dividend increase since it went public. The dividend pay date is April 15, 2016 to shareholders of record on April 1, 2016 (ex dividend March 30, 2016).
Chief Executive Officer ā John P. Case said: āWe are pleased that our Board of Directors has once again determined that we are able to increase the amount of the monthly dividend we pay to our shareholders. With the payment of the April dividend, we will have made 549 consecutive monthly dividend payments and paid over $3.9 billion in dividends throughout our 47-year operating history.”
The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.388 per share, up from $2.382. The dividend yield on current price is 3.9 %.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 50 shares of Realty Income, my annual dividends will increase by $0.255. For 2016 my dividends will increase by $ 0.19 after taxes.
My projected annual total amount from my shares of O will be $91 after taxes.
