I don’t know for you but the first two months of the year are usually pretty calm with respect to dividend. So February is usually not an exciting month for my Vrijheid Fonds. The good news is that, 2 out of the 17 dividend-paying companies which stocks I own had a dividend increase this month.
So lets take a look at the numbers and tell you the status of my Vrijheid Fonds and report my passive income for this month. In total I received € 28.58 ($ 32.00) in passive income.
If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:
Realty Income (O) € 7.17
AT&T(T) € 21.41
That makes a total of € 28.58, this is a 100% increase from last years February.
For an update of my Dividend Income click the hyperlink. In 2015 I received a total in passive income of € 45.56
If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), we can see it was a good month.
My total portfolio value at the end of January is $56,476, which is an increase of 5.2% over last month January (€ 53,664). Most of the gain came due a stronger Dollar against the Euro and higher stock prices. Furthermore I donated € 400 of fresh capital.
Again this month I made a nice step in my journey.
Thanks for reading!
Cheers

Congrats on the dividend income, Pollie. The second month of the quarter is usually a big one – smaller holdings paying out, but the payouts are bigger as my investments in the companies are larger.

Thanks for your kind words.
For my portfolio the first two months of the year are calm.
I’m looking forward to march 😀
