April Review

Another month has passed. The month April is a slow month for my Vrijheid Fonds. I’m looking for May and June. But first lets look back at April. I had two dividend increases. Coca Cola raised its dividend with 8.2% and Realty Income with 0.26%. Especially coca cola’s raise is nice. This is what I’m looking for. Lets take a look at the numbers and tell you the status of my Vrijheid Fonds and report my passive income for this month. In total I received € 38.05 ($ 42.23) in passive income.

If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:

Realty Income (O) € 7.26
Coca Cola (KO) € 20.22
General Electric (GE) € 10.57

That makes a total of € 38.05, this is a 5.7% increase from last years April.

In 2015 I received a total in passive income of € 361.08

If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), we can see it the value is lower than last month.

My total portfolio value at the end of April is $57,714, which is a decrease of 0.83% over last month (€ 58,196). The decline is due to a weaker dollar. And of course I donated € 400 of fresh capital to my Vrijheid Fonds.

This month I purchased 18 stocks of Procter & Gamble (PG). See here

Despite of a slightly lower value, I’m well on my way to FI.

Thanks for reading!

Because all figures I give are in Euro’s. And because the exchange rates is not constant (duh…) my passive income changes per month (even if the dividend stays the same). For the record: I only post my passive income from dividend the month I received it on my brokers account. And it is after taxes.

Keep that dividend snowball moving along. As R2R mentioned an increase is an increase and getting paid from some pretty solid names is better than getting paid from riskier stocks. Thanks for sharing.
