Month review March 2015

March is history, and lets see what it brought. March is always a good month. It is the last month of the quarter and a lot of companies pay dividend in March. Unfortunately no dividend increases this month. So lets take a look at the numbers and tell you the status of my Vrijheid Fonds and report my passive income for this month. In total I received € 277.16 ($ 298.86) in passive income. If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:

Realty Income (O) € 7.45
Royal Dutch Shell A (RDS) € 87.58
Unilever (UN) € 56.45
Aflac (AFL) € 7.38
Billiton PLC – ADR (BBL) € 34.50
Chevron (CVX) € 17.71
Johnson&Johnson (JNJ) € 16.55
McDonalds (MCD) € 14.07
Target (TGT) € 14.75
Mutual Fund € 20.71

That makes a total of € 277.16, this is a 207% increase from last years March. For an update of my Dividend Income click the hyperlink. In 2015 I received a total in passive income of € 322.72

If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), we can see it was a good month. My total portfolio value at the end of March is $58,196, which is an increase of 3.05% over last month (€ 56,476). Most of the gain came due a stronger Dollar against the Euro and higher stock prices. Furthermore I donated € 400 of fresh capital.

Again this month I made a nice step in my journey. Thanks for reading!

Note: Because all figures I give are in Euro’s. And because the exchange rates is not constant (duh…) my passive income changes per month (even if the dividend stays the same). For the record: I only post my passive income from dividend the month I received it on my brokers account. And it is after taxes.

Congrats on a solid month when it comes to dividend income. Over € 250 in dividend income is very impressive, what’s even impressive is the 207% growth!

The income is increasing nicely and coming in so fast for you these days. Very impressive work over the past year to get to this point, now it’s time to stick with it and blow these numbers out of the water next quarter! I really enjoyed this update!

Just awesome! $300 is saweeet and the growth of 20% is incredible. Ready for the next quarter end? I’m calling $325 at least and by next year, you’ll be over $400. Nice job!
