Dividend increase Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) – 2019

A Dividend increase by Johnson&Johnson in 2019.

On April 25th Johnson & Johnson announced a 5.6% increase in its quarterly dividend. The dividend is raised from $0.90 to $0.95. The dividend pay date is June 11, 2019 to shareholders of record on May 28, 2019 (ex dividend May 24, 2019).




CEO Alex Gorsky:

In recognition of our 2018 results, strong financial position and confidence in the future of Johnson & Johnson, the Board has voted to increase the quarterly dividend for the 57th consecutive year


Vrijheid Fonds

The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $3.80 per share, up from $3.60. The dividend yield on current price is 2.54%.




My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 45 shares of JNJ and with this 5.6% increase it will add €5.13 ($5.74) after taxes, to my projected dividend income for 2019. In 2019 Johnson&Johnson will pay me approx. €127 ($143.48) dividend after taxes.

This is the 17th dividend increase for my Vrijheid Fondin 2019. I love it!
