A dividend increase from Procter & Gamble (PG).
Yesterday Procter & Gamble (PG) announced a 4.0% increase in its quarterly dividend for common stockholders. The dividend is raised from $0.7172 to $0.7459.This dividend increase marks the 63rd consecutive year that the Company has increased its dividend, demonstrating its commitment to – and extending its long-term track record of – returning cash to shareholders. P&G has been paying a dividend for 129 consecutive years since its incorporation in 1890.
The dividend pay date is May 15, 2019 to shareholders of record on April 19, 2019 (ex dividend April 17, 2019).

The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.950 per share, up from $2.84. The dividend yield on current price is 2.85%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 38 shares of Procter & Gamble, my annual dividends will increase by €2.47 ($2.78) after taxes. My projected annual total amount from my shares of PG will be €84.70 ($95.53) after taxes.
I expected a dividend increase like this of Procter & Gamble. It is a small raise and very welcome!
