The first dividend increase for Realty Income in 2018.
Yesterday Realty Income (O) announced a 0.2% increase in its monthly dividend for common stockholders.
The dividend is raised from $0.212 to $0.2125. It was the 94th consecutive dividend increase since it went public. The dividend pay date is January 12, 2018 to shareholders of record on January 2, 2018 (ex dividend December 29, 2017).
Chief Executive Officer – John P. Case said: “We are pleased that our Board of Directors has once again determined that we are able to increase the amount of the monthly dividend we pay to our shareholders. With the payment of the January dividend, we will have made 570 consecutive monthly dividend payments and paid over $5.2 billionin dividends throughout our 48-year operating history.”
The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.55 per share, up from $2.544. The dividend yield on current price is 4.57%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 85 shares of Realty Income, my annual dividends will increase by €0.36. The dividend in my Vrijheid Fonds for 2017 my dividends is of course not affected ;-).
My projected annual total amount from my shares of O will be €155 after taxes.
