Dividend increase South32 Ltd ADR
Two weeks ago, when I was on holiday with my family, South32’s announced a dividend increase.
In August South32 Ltd ADR announced a 177,8% increase in its dividend. The dividend is raised from $0.18 to $0.32. The dividend pay date is October 12, 2017 to shareholders of record on September 15, 2017 (ex dividend September 13, 2017).
In this post I give the dividend for South32 Ltd ADR. South32 American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) each represent five fully paid ordinary shares in South32.
Graham Kerr, South32 CEO – The combination of our high operating leverage and stronger commodity prices delivered a substantial increase in financial performance. Free cash flow more than tripled to US$1.9B and we finished the year with a net cash balance of US$1.6B.
“We announced a fully franked final dividend of US$334M, representing 50% of Underlying earnings in the second half and increased our capital management program to US$750M, which is 6% of our market capitalisation.
Vrijheid Fonds
The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $0.64 per share, up from $0.36. The dividend yield on current price is 5.17%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 12 shares of SOUHY, so in 2017 my passive income will increase by €0.88 (after taxes).
My projected annual total amount from my shares of SOUHY will be €4.54 after taxes.
