A Dividend increase by the Target Corporation.
On June 11th, Target Corporation (TGT) announced a 3 % increase in its quarterly dividend.
The dividend is raised from $0.66 to $0.68. The dividend pay date is September 10, 2020 to shareholders of record on August 19, 2020 (ex-dividend August 18, 2020).
The 3rd quarter dividend will be the company’s 212th consecutive dividend paid since October 1967 when the company became publicly held. With the increase announced last week, 2020 is expected to be the 49th consecutive year in which Target has increased its annual dividend.
The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.72 per share, up from $2.64. The dividend yield on current price is 2.27%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 70 shares of TGT and with this 3.0% increase it will add €2.13 ($2.38) after taxes, to my projected dividend income for 2020. In 2020 Target will pay me approx. €143 ($160) dividend after taxes.
This is the 21st dividend increase for my Vrijheid Fonds in 2020. I love it!
