Recent buy – AT&T

This week I made a new buy for my Vrijheid Fonds.

Two weeks ago I did my analysis on AT&T (T). AT&T is, as I wrote in my stock Analysis, a dividend aristocrat that can’t be ignored with this kind of yield.

On the basis of this information/research I took action.

Last week I bought 40 shares of T at $39.84 per share (incl. fees).
With this buy I added a little bit more than €15 (after taxes) of dividend to my Vrijheid Fonds for this year.

The projected dividend income for 2017 for my Vrijheid Fonds is €3,051.

Again a small step in my journey. And one-step closer to my goal.
Has anyone else invested in this company recently? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I like the purchase. AT&T has been on my watchlist for some time now as well. Would like to see the stock price just a little lower 🙂 Definitely have some room in my portfolio for some more shares.

    Hey Pollie,

i like AT&T too and i added to my position during the spring/summer this year. i own now 190 shares. I think that the valuation right now is good and a yield above 5% can’t be ignored with a solid company like that. Maybe i’ll buy some more shares this year, but i haven’t decided yet.
In the last days i purchased PepsiCo and added to my Welltower position. The blog post will follow.

    Keep it up!

I like it! We have 2.5% of our portfolio in T, and another 2% in VZ. I personally think that T has been managed better recently, and should profit from the TWX acquisition. Glad to have you as a fellow shareholder Pollie.
