I made a new buy for my Vrijheid Fonds.
Last month I did my analysis on BEN. This week I looked at BEN again. Franklin Resources has had a record of paying consecutively rising dividends for thirty-four years, and is one of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats. I think that Franklin Resources’ dividend is sustainable in the medium-term and its current valuation is very attractive.
On the basis of this information/research I took action.
Purchase
This week I bought 50 shares of BEN at $36.217 per share (incl. fees).
With this buy I added a little bit more than €6 (after taxes) of dividend to my Vrijheid Fonds for this year. The projected dividend income for 2016 for my Vrijheid Fonds is €3,055.
Again a small step in my journey. And one-step closer to my goal.
Has anyone else invested in this company recently? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Pollie
