How high my passive income this month? It is time to take a look at the numbers.
The month September taught me again that health is far more important than money. In the beginning of this month I got an inflammation on my thyroid. I have been sick ever since. I didn’t (and still don’t) want to do anything. Not even reading a book about investing. I have never been this sick. So this post will be short and hopefully my health will increase this month and I will be back writing more posts.
But first a post about my favorite topic, dividends. Okay lets see how much passive income I have received in September. And what kind a month it was for my Vrijheid Fonds. I had two dividend increases. Target raised its dividend with 7.10% and Realty Income with 1%. Unfortunately, I also had one dividend increase. Billiton slashed its dividend with 14.3%. This decrease was expected. I think with in the coming years we will se an increase in dividend again.
Lets take a look at the numbers and tell you the status of my Vrijheid Fonds and report my passive income for this month. In total I received € 355.79 ($ 400.08) in passive income.
If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:
Royal Dutch Shell A (RDS) € 155.53
Unilever (UN) € 65.02
Aflac (AFL) € 7.43
Billiton PLC – ADR (BBL) € 7.47
Chevron (CVX) € 29.12
Johnson&Johnson (JNJ) € 18.14
McDonalds (MCD) € 14.13
Microsoft (MSFT) € 8.71
Realty Income (O) € 7.62
Target (TGT) € 16.33
Wal-Mart (WMT) € 17.00
That makes a total of € 355.79, this is a 23.6% increase from last years September. I proud of this increase. This means that my snowball is slowly getting momentum.

In 2016 I received a total in passive income of € 2430.31
If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), we can see that the value is slightly higher than last month. My total portfolio value at the end of September is €72.952, which is an increase of 0.22% over last month (€72,788). I again donated € 400 of fresh capital to my Vrijheid Fonds and € 100 for my mutual Fund for my “Safe-haven-sleep-well” part of my Vrijheid Fonds
Furthermore I bought 50 shares of Franklin Resources ($BEN).
Again this month I made a nice step in my journey.
Thanks for reading!
Because all figures I give are in Euro’s. And because the exchange rates is not constant (duh…) my passive income changes per month (even if the dividend stays the same). For the record: I only post my passive income from dividend the month I received it on my brokers account. And it is after taxes.
