Side hustle income report – June 2018

Welcome to my June 2018 edition of the side hustle report.

To fuel my Vrijheid Fonds, I donate a part of my paycheck every month. However to reach financial independence earlier I do some side hustles to make some extra income. And every month I write an income report of all my side hustles. I do this to track my income and to motivate myself (and hopefully also others) to make more money to invest.

For these reports it is important to understand that not all side hustles pay out immediately, therefore the numbers I present here are the accumulated revenues that hasn’t been paid out yet, but are in my various accounts. When I actually get paid, it is explicitly stated.

These side hustle income reports, in my opinion, provide a great look at how anyone can earn extra money outside of their day job.

With that said, let’s take a look how I did in June 2018.

As my frequent readers know, at this moment I have five side-hustles going on to help me generate cash for my Vrijheid Fonds. In this post I will report my accumulated revenues for all five side-hustles.

Google AdSense

Last month was a very good month. I have accumulated € 11.73 of extra income with the ads from Google AdSense. This is a new record for www.polliesdividend.com!!!

The payout threshold is € 70, so I have a long way to go to receive my second payment. But if it continues like last month, I’m confident that I will reach this threshold before the end of this year.

I’m on the right track and I hope I can keep up these numbers and start generating more money every month. I will try to post new content every two to three days on my website and with the help of you as a visitor, I hopefully will reach the next pay out threshold before this year ends. So come back, read my post, enjoy my ads and send me some love 🙂 .

Month Revenue

2017 38.56
Pay out 70.70
Present Value 23.23

The accumulated revenues in my Google AdSense account at the end of June are € 23.23

Bol.com & Amazon.com

In June I had no revenues from Amazon.com. This means that my Amazon account is still standing at $0.08.

My Bol.com affiliate is a different story, I can happily say, that my account has grown by €1.55 and my total now stands on € 5.81. The payout threshold is € 10, so I still have a long road ahead of me. But with the help of you my readers, I’m confident that I will reach this milestone in 2018. Thanks for the person who bought something on Bol.com through my website!

Euroclix

Euroclix is the longest running savings program in The Netherlands. With this program you can earn money by reading emails, participating in surveys, buying stuff on the Internet and using their Credit Card. For my Dutch readers I wrote a post about Euroclix. If you haven’t read it already, take a look at: A post for my Dutch Readers: Waarom gebruik ik Euroclix als “bijbaantje”?

Yeah, I know that Euroclix won’t to earn me a full income. I just see it as some nice extra cash I can earn with a little bit of effort. I estimate that I can earn around 70 euros a year.

If you’re Dutch and also want to earn a little bit of extra cash, sign up with Euroclix, it is free. You will receive a registration bonus of 2 euros immediately upon registration. Have fun and success with earning some extra cash!

Euroclix gives you points (clix) for every survey you fill in; furthermore you earn clix by ordering stuff (books, electronics, hotel bookings, etc.) on the Internet and when you use their Credit Card.

In the table below I will show the number of clix I earned in a month.

Month Revenue
January 801
February 765
March 1,175
April 1,649
May -3,847
June 1,634
July
August
September
October
November
December
Clix from 2017 1,328
2018 3,447 clix

When I reach the threshold of 5.000 clix, I will order Euroclix to pay out and that moment I will receive € 70. So I’m almost there. I’m very excited.

If you also want to earn some extra cash, just try Euroclix and sign in.

Member’s board

Regular visitors of Polliesdividend know that I’m a member of the member’s board of a local financial company. This board organizes at least 4 meetings every year on financial issues. As a member I’m asked my opinion about financial issues and what I recommend as the best strategy for the company on these issues.  When I attend a meeting I get expenses paid. There was one member’s board meeting in May, which got paid out in June. I got paid out € 90.

You can’t have a million-dollar dream with a minimum-wage work ethic.

Finally

June was a very good month for me. I got paid for my work in the Member’s board and have some extra income from Bol.com. And I had a record month with Google AdSense!

I love it!

I appreciate all of you who take the time to read my updates and follow along my slow and steady journey to financial freedom.

Do you have suggestions on how to improve my online income? Do you have any book suggestions about this topic? And if you have any questions for me about these side hustle reports, feel free to leave a comment down below.

I like to hear from you.

Cheers,

Pollie

Well done with the side hustles and finding ways to bring in extra capital that will work for you.

In terms of increasing revenue, with Google Adsense I seem to recall the most successful sizes being the 300×250 and 468×80 (I think those were the sizes). If you haven’t already, you can experiment with testing on different posts with different ad sizes to see what works best for you.

I haven’t focused on side hustles in awhile, but years back when I had a large assortment of sites I was making about $8-10k in a year. Those sites are all mostly abandoned now with no new content, but they still earn me about $500 per year. Not too bad.
